Pro Tip: Report Templates
Prompts#
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is prompt engineering? | Prompt engineering is the practice of crafting effective instructions for AI models. Well-designed prompts produce more accurate, relevant, and useful outputs. |
| How do I use variables in prompts? | Use double curly braces to define variables: {{company_name}}, {{date_range}}, etc. Variables are filled in when generating reports, allowing you to reuse prompts with different inputs. |
| What is version control for prompts? | Version control tracks every change to your prompts with full history. You can compare versions, rollback to previous versions, and promote tested prompts to production. |
| Can I import prompts from other tools? | Yes, you can import prompts via copy-paste, file upload (.txt, .md), or our API. We also provide importers for popular tools like LangChain and Notion. |
| How do I test my prompts? | Use the Evaluation feature to test prompts against sample inputs and benchmark outputs. You can create test suites and run automated evaluations before promoting prompts. |
| What are prompt categories? | Categories help organize your prompts by use case (Analysis, Research, Summary, etc.). You can create custom categories and filter your prompt library by category. |
