My Contexts
Upload documents, import from URLs, or add text to provide context for your AI-generated reports.
What are Contexts?#
Contexts are documents and information that you provide to ground AI-generated content in your specific data. Instead of relying solely on the AI model's general knowledge, contexts allow you to include company documents, research papers, data files, and other materials that make your reports more accurate and relevant.
Document Grounding
Base AI responses on your actual documents and data.
Reusable Assets
Save contexts once and use them across multiple prompts.
Smart Search
Search your context library to find relevant materials quickly.
Organization
Keep your contexts organized with names and descriptions.

| URL Import | Import content directly from web URLs | Web articles, documentation pages, online resources |
| Text Input | Paste or type text directly | Quick notes, specific passages, custom instructions |
File Upload
Upload documents from your computer.
URL Import
Pull content from any accessible URL.
Text Input
Add text directly without files.

Managing Contexts#
The Contexts page provides tools to organize and maintain your context library:
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Search | Filter contexts by name or description |
| Preview | View the contents of a context without opening it |
| Delete | Remove contexts you no longer need |
| Usage Stats | See how many times each context has been used |
Each context card displays key information at a glance:
Source Type Icon
Quickly identify if it's a file, URL, or text context.
Quick Actions
Preview or delete contexts from the card menu.
Using Contexts#
Once saved, contexts can be attached to prompts in several places:

Automatic Processing
- Parses the document into searchable chunks
- Creates embeddings for semantic search
- Retrieves relevant portions based on the prompt
- Includes citations in the generated content
Pro Tips#
Best Practices
- Keep contexts focused - one topic per context works better than one massive document
- Update contexts regularly to keep information current
- Use descriptive names and descriptions for easy searching later
- Delete unused contexts to keep your library manageable
- For URLs, ensure the content is publicly accessible (no login required)
- Review usage stats to identify your most valuable contexts
- Combine multiple contexts when you need information from different sources
A well-organized context library is the foundation of accurate, grounded AI content. Invest time in building and maintaining your contexts, and your reports will be more relevant, accurate, and valuable.
