1. Service Description

PromptReports.ai ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI Cost Intelligence platform operated by PromptReports.ai. The Service enables users to track, optimize, and reduce AI spend while generating, customizing, verifying, and distributing AI-powered research reports with claim-level source verification. Features include AI cost tracking, org-wide spend audits, autonomous multi-agent research, trend scanning, report generation, a prompt playground, a research marketplace, and collaboration tools.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration, and to keep this information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@promptreports.ai if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate, distribute, or store content that is illegal, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or connected systems.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service beyond the rate limits established for your account tier, except through our published APIs.
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any output generated by the Service without authorization, except as expressly permitted by your subscription plan.
Misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored research in contexts where such attribution would be deceptive or harmful.
Use the Service to generate content intended to manipulate financial markets, deceive voters, or cause physical harm.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any user who violates these restrictions, including account suspension, termination, and referral to law enforcement.

4. Intellectual Property

Platform IP: The Service, including its software, design, algorithms, verification pipeline, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of PromptReports.ai and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the original content you input into the Service (e.g., research queries, uploaded documents, custom prompts). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Generated Reports: Reports generated through the Service are owned by you, subject to the following: (a) the underlying AI models, verification pipeline, and platform technology remain our property; (b) if you publish reports on our marketplace, our Marketplace Terms govern distribution rights; (c) reports may contain factual information sourced from third parties, which remains subject to those third parties' rights.

5. Payment Terms

The Service offers subscription plans at the following tiers (prices subject to change with 30 days' notice):

Free: $0/month — Limited access to core features.
Researcher: $29/month — Full access to report generation, verification, and export features.
Team: $79/month — Team collaboration, advanced analytics, priority processing.
Enterprise: $299/month — Custom integrations, dedicated support, SLA guarantees.

In addition to subscription plans, individual reports may be purchased on a per-report basis ranging from $5 to $50 depending on complexity, length, and verification depth.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

AI-generated research reports, including verified reports, are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business, financial, legal, or medical decisions. While our verification pipeline significantly reduces inaccuracies, no automated system can guarantee 100% accuracy. Users are responsible for independently validating critical information before acting on it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROMPTREPORTS.AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

7. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@promptreports.ai or through your account settings. Termination takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, during which you may request an export. After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Dispute Resolution) will survive.

8. Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before initiating any formal dispute proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@promptreports.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

Binding Arbitration: Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and the seat of arbitration shall be in the United States.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and terminate your account before the effective date.
